EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS
The following are the PSEP workshops scheduled at this time for
2006. There will be additional workshops scheduled
throughout the state so check back
for new listings.
The 2006 Alaska Certified Pesticide Applicator Conference will
be held on Tuesday March 28th in Anchorage at the BP
Energy Center from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This conference is
for re-certification only. Those who require initial
certification are welcome to attend for educational purposes, but
you may not test and receive an initial certification with this
conference alone. Initial certification courses are listed
below. The conference fee is $40.00 Call the
Anchorage office to register 786-6300.

There is a new, annual $25.00 DEC fee to maintain your
certification, DEC will mail you an invoice for this fee.

Cooperative Extension Service, University of Alaska Fairbanks, Pesticide Safety Education
Program in Anchorage (phone number 786-6300) for information on self paced study.
PSEP workshops and self paced study require an approved, monitored administration
of the DEC pesticide applicator certification exam.
